Renown partnership with Northumbria University
Renown Oil and Gas are proud to be working in partnership with Northumbria University and the KTP programme to contribute to improving the oil and gas industry by optimising the production of offshore subsea components.
This is the third time that Renown has collaborated with Northumbria University and Innovate UK on their KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) programme to encourage the business to grow as well as help progress the careers of future engineers by providing them with invaluable experience.
In this latest project, our KTP Associate Lydia Chan is seeking to increase capability and capacity to fabricate super alloy components for offshore marine applications. The project aims to improve work flows, increase turnover and improve production rates.
We strive to support this project in its goals by providing them with the opportunity to work in a large scale manufacturing setting, and undertake professional training alongside their research. Renown Group look forward to seeing the results from Lydia’s KTP work and hope that this not only improves our business but boosts the oil and gas industry.
